Portable Document Scanner

If you haven't already heard, the Canon ImageFormula is the fastest portable scanner available. This is why I wanted to take this time to write you something about it, and tell you where to get it the best price. It can be difficult sometimes to find a cheap price on the internet, but in the end it will always be cheaper than going to a regular store. What I have found is that you can't get the best price for this particular scanner here.

When something is told to be the fastest, you need to make sure that this is true, but also you want to find out whether the scan quality is sufficient, and if it is too difficult to use for it to be of any use. So I bought this fastest portable document scanner and tried to find out whether it actually delivers what it promises.

First of all I can't really praise the looks of this machine enough, these types of scanners are used in the business world quite a lot, and when you pull out an ImageFormula P-150 from your laptop bag, you can be sure that everyone wants to find out which scanner this is. With the piano black finish on the top you can be sure that it isn't too ugly gray and white for you in any place.

The design is flawless and basically it folds open and has these two trays that are attached with hinges. The rear feed is great and you only need to stack up your documents there and allow the fastest portable document scanner to do it's work. Just like with any other scanner there are consumable parts that you will have to replace every now and then, and with this speed you will be scanning so much the it might come sooner than you think.

When it comes to size, this isn't the smallest machine that I have seen, and when you fold it down to go to your bag, it will be roughly 40mm * 280mm * 100mm. Basically if you have a decent bag it will fit, but if you are only going with really light weight you might have problems.

So it all comes to performance, and here is what I found out. First of all with these smaller machines you can have problems with the feeding, and there isn't much extra space anywhere, but with the P-150, the feed was flawless. No jamming and not anything that was alarming - I even tried to get it stuck by pulling the paper out in the middle of the scanning process, and tried to stuff two documents at a time, but it always came out as the winner.

The speed is remarkable as I was able to scan 11 double sided documents in less than a minute! This is something that you want when you are on a business trip and on a schedule.

Overall I will give this fastest portable document scanner a 5/5 - definitely worth the money!
